In order to keep ourselves steady, strong, and able, we must be consistent in using our breath. When we pause to breathe we will be more deliberate with our words, more thoughtful. Maybe kinder. If we think and speak as if our thoughts and words are magical, we will start to see how we are casting spells that are creating our reality.
When one remains stoic and poised like an ancient oak tree, they watch as life happens around them. If we can learn to stop and just sit for a bit each day, we are teaching our nervous system how to deactivate the fight/flight sympathetic system so we can heal our bodies naturally.
When you make time for meditation, you will begin to cultivate an awareness called mindfulness. Mindfulness is what helps you stay strong mentally to overcome the daily challenges that arise in your life.
